"mamagoto" is "manegoto"
"manegoto", imatation, is a commongame among children,
remembering what one heard or saw ;imagineand learn through imitation.
"mamagoto" is an imitating of adults' culinary practices.
The word 'mamma' is from baby talk and is borrowed
from the ancient spoken language meaning 'food', especially 'rice',
while 'goto' (or 'koto')means 'thing', or 'act'.
Sounds recordedduring the performance becomes 'mamma'
a food for our imagination to play with, and to put back into the pot to complete the mamagoto installation
